Entries 212/Left 32

The first of today’s two scheduled flights — Day 1G (Normal format, 40-minute levels) — wrapped up around 1:30 AM. With a total of 212 entries, 32 players secured a seat for Day 2, scheduled for tomorrow.

It was a day of intense action at the tables, and the one who came out on top was Roman pro Dario Quattrucci, who bagged just under 900,000 chips. Here’s what he had to say at the end of the day.

“Well, it was quite an unusual Day 1. Overall, the field felt softer than usual, with generally passive tables. That’s why it caught me off guard to end up at such an aggressive table — there was a constant rotation of players willing to get chips in with surprising ease, almost with a sense of euphoria.

Still, it was fun to battle in that kind of dynamic. By picking the right spots, things went smoothly overall: I won a few pots, lost a few others — the usual.”

Top 5

As for today’s Top 5, leading the pack is Dario Quattrucci with 837,000, followed by Czech player Josef Gulaš with 755,000 chips. In third place, Gianluca Traianella with 686,000, then Andrea Coscia with 637,000, and Alain Bay rounds out the top five with 505,000.

Below is the full list of all 32 players who qualified from Day 1G and will return tomorrow for Day 2.
