Entries 3217/Left 76

Day 2 of the Pirates Poker Treasure Main Event has just come to an end here at King’s Resort, with a total of 3,217 entries recorded and 76 players advancing to Day 3, which will kick off at 2:00 PM. It’s been a particularly dynamic day, thanks in part to the Mystery Bounty format, but also to the structure itself, which offered players plenty of room to maneuver—setting the stage for high-quality poker.
The standout performer of the day was none other than Romanian player Mousa, one of the chip leaders in the earlier qualification flights. He will return for Day 3 with an impressive 10,950,000 chips—roughly four times the tournament average. A truly dominant showing from Mousa, who, however, admitted in a post-day interview that he hasn’t had much luck with the bounties so far:

“Yeah… I can say it was a really long day. Very long. I started with a big stack, and everything was going in my favor—at least in terms of chips. Not the same for the Mystery Bounties though… no luck there. The mystery stayed a mystery for me.
I played super aggressive today, and it paid off when it came to building the stack—yeah, that part worked. But the bounties? Nothing. I must have gone to showdown like 50 times, I honestly lost count. Way too many showdowns today. But it was worth it—I’m chip leader now and ready for Day 3. Let’s see what happens next. Maybe I’ll see you again on Tuesday. I hope so!
Top 5
