Entries 313/ Left 92
Kings for a night, the best night. The one that saw Perla Resort's poker room explode, figuratively speaking, because of the massive turnout at Day1 F. So much so that, in the very first levels of play, there was a waiting list of more than 40 players, selfishly waiting for some eliminations so to take part in the tournament.
A shot of the room during the early levels of the game
Corrado Luigi overcame a field of 313 players (re-entry included) bagging over 100,000 chips more than Gabriele Farris, second in today's overall count. Whether he will be able to turn his advantage over his opponents into gold remains to be seen, but at least for tonight crown and scepter are (virtually) his property.

The tournament
With still one flight to go, in its "Speed" version scheduled at 12:30 p.m., this Christmas edition of ReMida Poker Team is already a success. The 216,000 euros (and change) collected so far out of the 200,000 guaranteed prize pool proves it.
Above all, it is shown by the enthusiasm and affection of all players who did not miss the opportunity to end the year on a high note. At 17:00 Day 2B will begin, and only then we will be able to give you the official numbers. To say thank you, however, it is not even necessary to wait for the sunrise.
So far 769 entries have been registered, with 20 players already qualified for Monday's Final Day (those from Day 1 A, B, and C, who have already played Day 2 A) and another 154 ready to battle hoping to join them.
The Top 5
Let's start right away with the hot words of the day's chip leader, Corrado Luigi from Turin, who was able to bag 703,000 chips, which will correspond to over 230 big blinds when play resumes:
"My team? You know I don't know either, I was added at the last to an already formed group. I would have liked to meet them in one of the breaks but there was no opportunity, we will make up for it tomorrow!
I had a good time, also because when things go well in this game we have a little more fun than normal. I played tight, made some nice folds saving myself on a couple of occasions, and on as many the cards rewarded me.
Have I ever closed Chipleader on Day 1? Yes, it happened once and it went pretty well because I finished in second place... We hope to do better this time, never say never!"
We've already spoiled you in the opening who's second in the count. It is Gabriele Farris, who will bring in 595,000 chips at 5:00 pm. Third place for Carmine Masciale at 527,000, while fourth and fifth places go to Nunzio Vanoncini (470,000) and Francesco Gregorace (469,000).
Many circuit regulars qualified for Day 2. Among the most known we have Mario Ripepi (26th at 270,000), Giovanni Socci (30th at 254,000), Federico Lenzi (33rd at 227,000), Maurizio Migliorini (34th at 227,000), Edis Bečić (37th at 216,000), Roberto Gerosa (55th at 155,000) and Francesco Perrupato (80th at 65,000).
And now let's have a look at the full chip count together with the seat redraw.
