Day 3 of the Pirates Poker Treasure Main Event (€1,500,000 GTD) comes to an end late into the night, with play stretching all the way to Level 31 (80-minute levels), and 13 players advancing to the Final Day.
The chip leader is Greece’s “Cody” , who bags 22,725,000 chips, with Germany’s “Casco” right behind him on 22,050,000, just over one big blind apart.
The only Italian still in contention is Tonino Sturzo, sitting 5th in chips with 18,300,000, while one of the key performers of the day, Romania’s Paul Adrian Covaciu, closes in 6th place with 13,825,000.
Completing the top positions are Lucky761 with 18,925,000 in third place, followed by Germany’s Markus Gießen with 18,500,000. At the bottom of the count is Georgia’s Erik Avlastimov with 4,450,000 chips.
Play will resume at 13:00 for the Final Day, where the winner of this major event will be decided.
As for the Mystery Bounties, all the biggest prizes have already been claimed. The €75,000 top bounty was won by Krzysztof Tadeusz Mielnik (pic below) who was eliminated shortly after hitting the biggest prize.
