Entries 769/Left 97

Another action-packed day has come to an end here at King’s Resort Rozvadov, as Day 1H Speed, with 30-minute levels, wrapped up in the early hours of the morning. This turbo-format flight drew an impressive 769 entries, sending 97 players through to Day 2, which kicks off on Sunday afternoon.
It was a particularly long grind, with play extending until around 5 AM, as the field battled down to 12.5% of the entries. Blinds reached 10,000/20,000 by the time the bags came out, meaning players effectively pushed through four levels of Day 2 play even though it was technically still Day 1.
At the top of the leaderboard is Israel’s KArmabreAK who bagged a commanding 1,226,000 chips, followed by Turkey’s Savas Tasdemir with 1,084,000.
We also caught up with Greece’s Stylianos Karadaglis, who closed the day with 1,057,000 chips, good for fourth place. Before the final count, Karadaglis briefly thought he might be the chip leader, but here’s what he had to say about his rollercoaster session:

“The day was really a rollercoaster for me. I had a lot of luck early on, during the first levels of play, but after that I went completely card dead and felt a bit out of it.
Still, the poker gods were with me today, and I’m happy about how things turned out. I finished with the second biggest stack, so I guess that also means I won the tickets… let’s just pretend I did, unofficially.
Overall, I’m satisfied with my performance and hopeful that I can do even better tomorrow.”
Top 5
Completing the Top 5 are Sweden’s Per Haakon Ivar Nilsson, who finished third with 1,075,000 chips, and Slovakia’s Palpacino, rounding out the group with 1,053,000.
Below, you can find the full list of all 97 players who secured their place in Day 2 from this fast-paced evening flight.
