Entries 5303/Left 152

This marathon day of poker at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov has finally come to an end. It all started with a Day 1 qualifier at 11 AM and wrapped up at 5 AM with the bagging of chips for Day 2.
A staggering 5,303 entries pushed the prize pool to over €2.6 million, with a first-place payout of €400,000 plus a ticket for the upcoming WSOP Europe Main Event, set to take place here at King’s this fall.
It was a day packed with action and emotions, and leading the charge is Germany’s TeddyKGB, who bagged an impressive 8,760,000 chips after winning a massive hand that we covered in detail on our live blog. Be sure to check it out to relive the moment.
Clearly thrilled about his performance, here’s what TeddyKGB had to say right after bagging:

"It’s been an incredible day—I was running like a god. I kept hitting… I flopped sets, hit top pairs, everything was going smoothly. I didn’t start on this table though. I began on a different one with 480K, after qualifying through a flip—a flipping job!
Then I made a runner-runner straight, doubled up with A-K against queens, and after that, I got moved to this table. From there, it was just run, run, run… everything clicked perfectly. Now I’m here, sitting on this huge stack and ready for Day 3.”
We also spoke with the second-biggest stack of the day, Austria’s Nikolaus Kovacs, who was chip leader until just a few hands before play ended. He closed the night with 6,765,000 chips, securing the runner-up spot in the overall count. It was another standout day for Kovacs, and here’s what he told us moments after sealing his bag:

“I started the day feeling very tired, my friend… but eventually, we started picking up good hands, and from there it turned into a solid grind.
It’s been a good day overall, and I hope tomorrow goes the same way. I began with a 500K stack, qualified through a Flip & Go—yeah, probably one of the craziest ways to get here. It’s funny because both the first and second stacks right now came from Flip & Go as well. Crazy, isn’t it?”
Top 5
After highlighting the performances of the top two stacks from Day 2 of the EPM €2 Million Guaranteed Main Event—TeddyKGB and Nikolaus Kovacs, who will return tomorrow with 8,760,000 and 6,765,000 chips respectively—another standout emerges in third place: Germany’s Oliver Bachmeier, who bagged 6,750,000 chips.
Equally remarkable was the run of Italy’s Rebecca Rivoli, who finished the day with 6,090,000 chips after a rollercoaster session full of dramatic hands, many of which we covered extensively on our live blog—make sure to check it out for all the key moments.
Rounding out the top five is another German player, Anton Quirkst, with 5,425,000 chips.
Also worth noting is Italy’s Marco Bognanni, sitting in 11th place with 4,690,000, followed closely by “King of Kings”, a regular fixture in these parts and across the Eurorounders circuit, with 4,680,000 chips.
Sardinia’s Alessio Urpis also deserves a mention after a strong comeback that sees him bagging 4,545,000 chips.
Finally, special credit goes to Alessio Albore, the IPO Sanremo champion from two years ago, who spent much of Day 2 at the feature table. He returns tomorrow with 4,000,000 chips, starting from 18th place in the overall count.
