Today’s action also concludes with reaching 15% of the field in Day 1B of the EPO European Poker Open Mystery Bounty with €1,000,000 guaranteed. A total of 28 entries were recorded today, and the 5 qualifiers from the opening day are joined by the 5 from today’s flight, making it 10 players already guaranteed a spot in Day 2 on Sunday.
Leading the pack today is the German MadPot, who, for privacy reasons, requested not to have his photo displayed. However, he did share a few words with us:
“I’m very happy to be at the top of the chip count. I played very well, but most importantly, I won the crucial hands. There were at least 2-3 all-in situations where my hand held up, and I managed to take down the pot. The stack heading into Day 2 is great; hopefully, I’ll perform well and maybe even win a few bounties.”
