Day 1H Speed of the France Poker Festival also comes to an end 🇫🇷♠️🔥 after attracting 574 entries and sending another 58 players through to Day 2, scheduled to begin on Sunday at 5 PM.

The man of the day goes by the nickname “ottodipikke” 🎯 although we also know his real identity: Roberto Palmieri 🇮🇹 (pic below), who closes as chip leader by the smallest of margins over Moldova’s Stepan Budak.

Palmieri bags 1,046,000 chips versus Budak’s 1,034,000 — a difference of barely a blind 💰👀 A result that also places the Italian directly inside the overall top 10, giving him a very comfortable stack heading into Day 2.

As for the top five, behind "ottodipikke" and his 1,046,000 stack, and Stepan Budak on 1,034,000, we find Bogdan Alexandru Tilica with 1,023,000 chips.

Rounding out the top five are Czech player Jakub Koleckar with 1,016,000 and another Italian, Luca Frigerio, with 871,000 🔥
