As we write this, it’s 3:45 AM and Day 2 of the IPS TPS Main Event with €1,500,000 guaranteed has just come to an end, after a total of 24 levels of play.

Leading the way is the Italian Francesco Simone Recupero, the only player to cross the 7-million mark and even get close to reaching 8, since the 7,935,000 chips he accumulated today give him the first position in the count.
Top 5
As for the Top 5, besides the Italian Recupero, we find the Portuguese Daniel Filipe Rodríguez Cruz with 6,620,000, already a protagonist yesterday as the chip leader in his qualifying flight, followed by another Italian, Andrea Coalova, who spent the last hours of play at the TV Table with 6,255,000 chips.
Fourth place goes to the Swiss Savas Kuelueg with 6,250,000, and fifth place to the Romanian Mousa, a long-time EuroRounders familiar face who closes today with 5,900,000 chips.
You can find the full count with the complete Day 3 redraw below, along with the list of all players advancing. Due to the massive turnout and the very large field, the Tournament Direction has decided to extend the event, meaning the final table will now be reached on Tuesday instead of Monday.
