Day 2 of the King’s Birthday Main Event came to an end late at night, as expected, after a massive tournament that recorded 5,769 entries and brought 48 players through to tomorrow’s Final Day, starting at 14:00.

Leading the way is Germany’s Tourist, who bagged 17,350,000 chips. With the average stack sitting just below 6 million, he will return with nearly three times the average and the biggest stack in the room.
Top 5
Second place in the count belongs to Eugenio Cupellini, the best placed of the six Italian qualifiers, who closed Day 2 with 15,525,000 chips. We caught up with him right after the end of play, and you can find the full interview on our Instagram page.
In third position sits Benyamin with 12,300,000, followed by Sinan Seremetli on 11,800,000 and Mircea George Olaru with 11,250,000.
