Entries 5596/Left 90

Day 2 of the 👑 King’s Million Main Event came to an end late into the night, as usual. The tournament attracted a massive 5,596 entries and has now sent 90 players through to Day 3, which will resume tomorrow at 14:00.
The standout performer of the day was Italy’s Raffaele Terrazzano, who bagged 9,300,000 chips, finishing ahead of Gianluca Cammarata, who closed the day with 6,740,000. While we didn’t manage to catch the chip leader for a quick comment at the end of the day, we did speak briefly with Cammarata, who shared his impressions after bagging.
I’m the chip leader of Day 2, and so far everything has gone really well. I played solidly throughout the day and things just seemed to fall into place.
There was one key hand where I had pocket queens and ran into aces. I ended up hitting a set of queens on the flop and decided to take the aggressive line from there, and the hand went my way.
I felt relaxed at the tables, and that helped a lot. At one point I even managed to hit a royal flush — a pretty crazy moment. I had K-J of clubs and completed the royal on the river.
The older gentleman in the hand had a full house and basically paid me off. Unfortunately I couldn’t get every single chip because he still had around 130,000 left behind, but it was still a huge pot.
Let’s hope it’s a good sign for the rest of the tournament. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
