Entries 1893/Left 33

Day 2 of La Notte degli Assi has come to an end after another long and intense day of poker at King’s Resort Rozvadov. From the original field of 1,893 entries, only 33 players remain in contention for the title and the €140,000 first prize awaiting the winner on the Final Day.

The strongest performance of the day belonged to Slovakia’s Jozef Cibicek, who managed to bag 7,155,000 chips and will return tomorrow as the player to catch. Close behind is Austria’s Jonny Tapia with 7,125,000 after spending much of the latter part of the day among the biggest stacks in the room.

Top 5

Romania continues to be heavily represented near the top of the leaderboard thanks to Vitalie Binzaru, who advanced with 6,900,000 chips, while Czech regular Patrik Jaros and Romania’s Florin Daniel Bobu complete a tightly packed leading group with 6,700,000 and 6,655,000 respectively.

With only 33 players left and the average stack becoming increasingly shallow compared to the blinds, the stage is set for a dramatic Final Day where every decision will carry enormous weight.

The complete seat redraw with all 33 remaining players and their updated chip counts can be found below.
