Entries 60/ Left 17

Day 1G of the People’s Poker Tour Main Event is now officially in the books. The flight recorded 60 entries and sent 17 players through to the Final Day, which is set to begin tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
Topping the chip count is Vincenzo Bevilacqua, who bagged 404,000 chips. While this stack is lower than the top finishes of some previous flights, it reflects that Day 1G had one of the smallest starting fields of the festival.

“Well, not much to say really. It was a short Day 1G, and I ended up with around 404,000 chips. What happened? I guess I was lucky — I’m lucky at the tables.
My wife treats me badly, so poker is the only place where I’m allowed to be lucky. Some people are lucky in love… I’m not one of them, unfortunately, but that’s fine. I’ll take my luck where I can get it.
There’s still another day to try and be lucky, and for now, this is good enough. Thanks a lot.”
