🇨🇭 Emilia crushed Day1 C!

Entries 70/Left 8

The third of seven flights scheduled for this weekend’s games at the GC Poker Room in Bender, Liechtenstein, has come to an end. Day 1C recorded a total of 70 entries, with eight players qualifying for Sunday’s Day 2.

The standout player of the day was Swiss-Italian Emilia, a regular at this poker room, who bagged 783,000 chips, securing the 5,000 Swiss franc chip leader prize. Here’s what he said at the end of the day:

“The secret to always making it far? Bluffing a lot and playing in position. Jokes aside, it was a very positive day. I managed to hit some good hands and get paid by my opponents, and I also pulled off a few successful bluffs.

This isn’t the first time I’ve finished as chip leader on Day 1, especially when there’s a bonus on the line. Thanks to my experience, I’m able to take advantage of monetary pressure situations against less experienced players.

Last December, I finished fourth in the 200,000-guaranteed event here, and I hope to reach the final table again this time—maybe even improve on that fourth place.”
