With 11,250,000 in chips, it’s Serbian Srdan Martonoski who leads the 171 players advancing to Day 3 of the Euro Poker Million Main Event.

The tournament, organized by Euro Rounders at King’s Resort Rozvadov, has set a new record for this format with 7,303 entries, drawing players from 70 countries to the Czech Republic and building a prize pool of €3,662,454, with €500,000 up top for the winner to be crowned on Tuesday’s final day.

Day 2 started with 721 players left, after a Sunday Turbo Day 1I that drew 851 entries and a flood of qualifiers from the Flip & Go Pineapple flights.

In the late stages, the Serbian pulled ahead of Italian Salvatore Ricciardi, who bagged 8,975,000 in chips, almost 1M clear of the other big stack at his table, Belgian Pascal Inkert, who closed on 8,000,000.

For Ricciardi, it’s another deep run, and he’s looking to improve on his strong previous result at King’s in an Euro Rounders format, the IPS – Italian Poker Sport. A key moment was a hand where he hit two pair with Q-2, which rocketed him to 3x average early on Day 2.

Rounding out the top of the counts, Czech player David Riha bagged 7,980,000, just shy of the 8M mark, alongside Armenian Tigran Piloyan on a very similar stack.

To find the next Italian in the chip counts we drop down to 19th place, where Salvatore Liotta sits on 4,870,000. In total, 37 Italian players have made it through to Day 3 – almost 25% of the remaining field – all hunting the half‑million first prize.

The end‑of‑day average is 2,562,456 chips. Play resumes at 2 PM at 25k/50k/50k, and the field will be played down to the final table, which will be streamed live starting at 1 PM on Tuesday, 28 July.

Everyone still in has already locked up €1,250 more than the min cash, but the dream is to lift the Euro Rounders “flower” trophy and secure that huge first-place payout.
