Entries 3.432/Left 49

Day 2 of the IPO, Italian Poker Open Main Event, has just come to an end at 2:30 AM. The event drew a total of 3,432 entries across the seven Day 1 flights played up to yesterday, and today 49 players are left dreaming big, having secured their seat for Day 3.
The best performer of the day was Romanian player Ivailo Eftimov, who bagged 7 million chips at the end of play—equivalent to 88 big blinds when action resumes. A man of few words, partly due to some language barriers, he shared the following immediate reaction:

“It was a beautiful day, everything went perfectly. There weren’t really any spectacular hands worth mentioning. I ran well and won the key flips.”
Top 5
As for the top 5, along with Eftimov’s 7 million, we find Arti Zilani with 6,365,000, followed by Guido Secchieri with 5,450,000.
In fourth place is Ridvan Kilinkaslan with 5,015,000, and in fifth, Marco Venturi with 4,880,000. Below is the full list of all 49 players who qualified for Day 3 of the IPO Main Event.
