The second and final flight scheduled for today at the Perla Resort & Entertainment has come to an end, with Day 1I of the People’s Poker Tour Main Event drawing 89 entries and sending 25 more players through to Day 2, which will be played later today starting at 3:00 PM.
The standout performer of the day was Francesco Cassano, who closed the flight as chip leader with 767,000 chips. Thanks to this result, Cassano also secured the €3,000 Chip Leader Bonus, reserved for the top stack across the designated flights.
Top 5
As for the Top 5, Cassano leads the way ahead of Andrea Benelli with 540,000 chips. Elio Cafferro finishes third with 436,000, followed by Niccolò Tomei in fourth place with 377,000, and Alberto Boesso in fifth with 366,000 chips.
