Entries 397/ Left 50

Day 1H of the Pirate’s Poker Treasure – Mystery Bounty Main Event has come to an end after attracting a total of 397 entries, with 50 players securing their spot for Day 2, scheduled for Sunday, starting at 3:00 PM.
The flight was dominated by Dutch player Firat Baltaci, who closed the day with an impressive 1,777,000 chips, a stack that propels him to the top of the overall chip count across all flights so far. At the end of the session, the chip leader shared his thoughts after a long and demanding day at the tables.

This time things started to go my way. Early on, every time I raised with a hand, I seemed to lose, but then the big pots started coming.
The two biggest hands of the day? In one spot there was a three-bet, four-bet, five-bet situation. I called on the button and hit an ace on the flop, which allowed me to win a very big pot. Shortly after, there was another key hand: I was in the small blind, the big blind pushed, and I had kings against ace — and again, it went my way.
If you look up my name, you’ll see that in Holland I’ve often finished days as chip leader! Jokes aside in a Mystery Bounty format, this really matters even more. Having a big stack gives you more chances to put pressure on opponents, bust players, and collect bounties.
Now we just hope to carry this momentum into the next day and see how far it can go.”
