The Day 1F of the 🐺 Wolf Millionaire Main Event has just wrapped up at King’s Resort Rozvadov with an impressive 713 entries. In the end, 72 players secured their seat for Day 2, which will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Leading the way was Swiss player Gaetan Girardin, who bagged 1,119,000 chips, followed by Sweden’s Erik Bjoernlund with 1,056,000. Both not only head into Day 2 with huge stacks but also claim the special prizes on offer: a €550 ticket for the WSOPE Colossus and a €350 entry for the King’s Millionaire Main Event.

Here’s what Girardin told us after sealing the bags at the end of the night:

"What happened today? Honestly, I didn’t get too many cards. I had to hold on the whole time. Then, when I got down to twenty blinds, I found some really nice spots.

I’m very happy with the decisions I made — both the folds and the calls. They were really good decisions, and that’s what brought me here today.

Yes… I’m a professional, or at least I try for a while!"
