Entries 377/Left 51

The first of the two flights scheduled today at Casino di Sanremo, WSOP Circuit Main Event Day 1C, has come to an end with 377 entries and 51 players advancing to Sunday’s Day 2.
The best performer of the session was Gregory Grech, a French player of Tunisian origin, who bagged 1,430,000 chips, which will correspond to 143 big blinds when play resumes. Here is what he told us after sealing his bag.

“Today went well. It was a good day, and the end of the day went especially well. I won my flips, then I put pressure on the bubble, and everything went the way it needed to.
I’d call myself a semi-professional player. Poker is part of my life, but I also run a business — I own a pizzeria, so I work in that field as well. I’m originally from Tunisia, but I live in Nice now. That’s pretty much it. Thank you.”
Top 5
