Entries 342/ Left 44
EPM Euro Poker Million Day2 ended slightly before 3 a.m., bringing 44 qualifiers to Sunday's Day2 out of 342 entries, a huge number for a Thursday evening, as well as it happened yesterday.
Today's standout performer is the Swiss player Scaramumba, the only one to surpass the 1,600,000-chip mark. At the close of the bags, his stack totals an impressive 1,691,000 chips. Reflecting on his success at the end of the day, he commented:
“Well, I really can’t complain about how things went. How did I manage to build such a big stack? Simple, I’d get dealt Aces, and an Ace would flop; I’d have Queens, and a Queen would flop. In short, it was truly a day to remember, especially considering it was my first and only entry into the tournament.”
Top 5
Taking another look at today’s Top 5, which, as a reminder, awarded prizes of 8,000, 5,000, 3,500, 2,000, and 1,500 Swiss francs to the top five players, we find the following:
In addition to the chip leader mentioned earlier, Kosovar Shaban Ganay secured 1,027,000 chips, followed by Fabian Hilterbrand from Switzerland with 807,000. Danuccio from Italy, with 770,000, and Kai Arthur K. De Wind from Belgium, with 701,000, complete the top five.
Below is the complete list of all 44 players who qualified for Day 2 on Sunday.
