The Euro Poker Million adventure has begun here at the King's resort in Rozvadov with Day1A which saw 25 entrants and 3 qualifiers, all already in the money, for Day2.
Don't be fooled by the numbers on this first day: there are plenty of Day1s scheduled and, as happened at the IPS of records, a full house is expected over the weekend.
Quick recap of EPM schedule
We take this opportunity to recap the schedule of the entire European event staged this week at 👑 King's Resort.
As is already clear from its name, 🇪🇺 EPM, has a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000 against a €490 buy-in.
Nine Day1s are available, spread over the Holy Week between Monday 3 and Saturday 8 April. All aiming at a single Day2 scheduled for Easter Sunday, which will give access to the final chapter for the following day, Angel Monday 10 April, also known as Easter Monday.
Each Day1 will be played until 10% of the entrants remain in play (rounded up to the nearest whole number) but be warned, 15% of the field will make it to the prize pool.
A good practical example is the Day1A which took place last night: 25 registrations, 4 ITM players of which 3 qualified for Day2.
Let's now talk about the 📊 levels: some Day1s have 30' levels and others 40' levels, you can distinguish them by the wording "Speed" in the schedule.
On Day2, the rounds will be lengthened to 50' to finally reach the apotheosis of playability on the Final Day where each level will be played for 1 hour.
The outline is prepared with 6 🛰 satellites ALL with 10 🎟 Guaranteed tickets and 4 parallel tournaments including a very tasty €50K GTD High Roller.
Day2 qualifiers
Four prize-winners and three qualifiers in this first round, with Germany's 🇩🇪 Dennis Wilke stuffing 770,000 in the bag to become the provisional chipleader.
He is followed by the Israeli 🇮🇱 Chikkits Banaana, obviously an alias, with 408,000 chips while in third place is another German, also hiding under the alias 🇩🇪MFG777.
The third German out of four ITMs, 🇩🇪 Claudio Descultu, in fact, had to be content with the €700 minimum cash.
