At one point he climbed as high as 50 million chips — four times the average stack — before dropping back and stabilizing around 30 million. A key hand saw him win a massive pot with A-A against K-K.

Also still in the field is Daniele Santaniello, holding a stack just below average, while Giovanni Battista Gaiulli is currently working with a stack of a little over 10 big blinds.

Among the shorter stacks at the outer table is Ciprian Paunescu, who sits at around 10 big blinds. Meanwhile, action in the High Roller has moved to the upper floor, where five players remain. Blinds are 100,000/150,000 with a 150,000 ante, and the average stack stands at 8.2 million chips.

Meanwhile, the first level of the side event King’s No Limit Hold’em Night Turbo is also underway, featuring a €10,000 guaranteed prize pool. So far 44 players have registered for the €130 buy-in event.

Thu 12 Mar - 19:30 - Over 200 entries at the 4th level!

There are already over 200 entries as Level 4 has just begun, the penultimate level before the 40-minute break scheduled at the end of Level 5.

At the moment, 169 players remain in contention for a spot in the money out of a current total of 202 entries. The average stack stands at 47,000 chips from the 40,000 starting stack, therefore slightly above the starting level.

As a reminder, 15% of the field will make it in the money, while 10% will advance to Day 2, so the action is expected to continue well into the night. Stay tuned for further updates.
