Entries 191/ Left 24

Day 1F of the Pirate’s Poker Treasure – Mystery Bounty Main Event comes to an end with 191 total entries and 24 players qualified for Day 2. The flight wrapped up shortly before midnight after more than 12 hours of play.
The money bubble proved particularly demanding, lasting over an hour and a half and keeping the remaining players at the tables longer than expected before the final eliminations of the day.
Leading the field at bagging time is France’s Jean-Christophe Harclin, who closed the session with 1,127,000 chips. At the end of the day, the chip leader shared his thoughts on the long grind and the key moments of his run.

“It was actually a really tough day at the beginning. For a long time I couldn’t find any cards and I lost a big portion of my stack early on. After that, though, everything started to run much better and little by little I managed to build up my stack all the way to the top.
Overall, I think I played well, even if by the end I was feeling quite tired. It was a very long day — really long. I’ve been playing since the very first minute, without breaks, so the fatigue definitely kicked in.
I’m not a professional player, I play more occasionally, but days like this still take a lot of energy. At least now I can finally get some rest and sleep before coming back tomorrow. That’s already a reward in itself.”
