Here we are once again at King’s Resort Rozvadov, ready to bring you the full coverage of another incredible event: the IPS - Italian Poker Sport 58th edition organised by Euro Rounders!.

With a €380 buy-in and a massive €1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool, the tournament is already underway.

Play continues down to 10% of the entries, and those players will qualify for Day 2. The remaining 15%, meanwhile, will make the money, with a minimum cash of €760.

Day 2 is scheduled for Sunday, August 30 at 5 p.m., and the same day will also feature Day 1H Turbo and the Flip and Go Pineapple events.

The maximum number of re-entries per flight is set at two buy-in.

After 17 30-minute levels, Day 1C Speed of the IPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event has concluded, with 21 players qualifying for Day 2 on Sunday, August 30 at 5:00 p.m.

Two additional eliminations took place, with 35 places paid today and a minimum cash of €760. Players finished at blinds of 10,000/15,000/15,000, with an average stack of 542,857 chips.

While we await the full report, Day 1D will begin at 11:00 a.m. with 40-minute levels, followed at 6:00 p.m. by Day 1F Speed, featuring 30-minute levels.

German player Haves completes his unfortunate run as the Day 1C Speed bubble man. The chips go to Chinese player Xiaohua Yang, who now has almost 1 million chips.

Meanwhile, Italy’s Maurizio Giuliana has made the money. The other top stacks remain unchanged.

At blinds of 5,000/10,000/10,000, the average stack is 325,000 chips, and play will continue until 23 players remain!

Fri 28 Aug 01:45 Haves downswing, Or Paz climbs to 500k! Still in the bubble zone!

German player Roschdi Haves (picture), who had been among the chip leaders, has suffered a major setback. “Thank you,” Israeli player Deddi Or Paz tells him as he climbs to 500,000 chips, while the average stack with the bubble approaching is 316,000. Haves drops to 280,000.

Haves opens from middle position, and Or Paz 3-bets from the big blind. Haves then moves all in with a 4-bet, and the Israeli makes the snap-call.

Jackychen (picture) continues to soar and now has 900,000 chips, with 49 players remaining. There are 35 paid places and 23 Day 2 qualifying spots.

Germany’s Roschdi Haves has also moved up, reaching 720,000 chips, while Habibi has increased his stack to 650,000.

Italy’s Alessandro “Wodimello” De Michele has been eliminated, while Maurizio Giuliana is still above average with 250,000 chips.

Thu Aug 27 - 00:00 p.m. Day 1C Speed closes with 228 entries! The bubble is reached with 35 players left, while Habibi up to 500K!

Day 1C Speed has closed with 228 entries, with 69 players still in contention. The top 35 players will make the money, while 23 players will qualify for Day 2. The current average stack is 150,000 chips.

Germany’s Habibi has won a big pot, although he was taking a significant risk. He is now in the lead with 500,000 chips—well above the 150,000-chip average. King Kong Galshi (picture) is also doing well and has moved back up to the average stack.

Let’s start with King Kong, who 3-bets to 12,500 after the original raiser opens from UTG to 6,000 at blinds of 3,000/6,000/6,000. The two players have similar stacks, both around half the average. The original raiser 4-bet jams, and Galshi makes the snap-call.

Thu Aug 27 - 10:30 p.m. Two levels left to register for Day 1C Speed! Czech player UNAVENEJ now leads, with Santaniello still in the mix

There are just two levels left to register and re-enter, with 104 players remaining from 205 entries in Day 1C Speed of the IPS €1.5 million guaranteed tournament.

There has been a change at the top: Czech player UNAVENEJ is now leading the field with 290,000 chips. Germany’s Roschdi Haves is next with 240,000, followed by Romania’s Cristian Cirja on 190,000.

Other notable stacks? With the average stack standing at 100,000 at blinds of 1,000/2,000/2,000, Daniele Santaniello—who made his mark in the record-breaking Euro Poker Million—is above average, as is Szilvia Popper with 125,000 chips. Andy Gab is also still in the tournament.

Thu Aug 27 - 10 p.m. Over 200 entries in Day 1C, Siriunas pulls off a big bluff, Macreen in the lead

After seven levels of play, there are 202 entries and 124 players at the tables. The average stack is 80,000 chips, and the eighth level is now underway at 1,000/1,500/1,500.

In the lead is Israel’s Yuval Macreen with 190,000 chips, followed by Montenegro’s Stefan Kljajevic with 150,000 and Vaidas Siriunas, who has reached the same stack after a hand against Ukraine’s OS.

At 1,200/1,500, Siriunas opens from UTG to 2,400, and OS 3-bets to 5,800 from UTG+1. The original raiser calls.

Alessandro “Wodimello” De Michele is the face of Day 1C Speed, featuring 30-minute levels. After the first three levels of play, there have been more than 130 entries, with 105 players at the tables.

The starting stack is 50,000 chips, and after the first break the tournament is playing at 400/800/800, with the average stack at 64,000 chips.
