At showdown, Abrechner reveals Q♥ 9♦, but Mousa holds A♦ K♥, which prevails on a board of Q♦ 5♦ 4♣ 8♥ K♦. Mon 17 Mar - 14:30 - Short stack swings!

In the meantime, there have been a few showdowns involving the shorter stacks at the table, including German player KingKhan and Flurim Alija.
In the first case, after an open from KingKhan under the gun and a call from Mousa in the big blind, the action escalates on a K-7-5 board. Mousa checks, and KingKhan shoves all-in. The Romanian takes a moment to decide whether he wants to call, then puts his chips in with K♦ 6♦. KingKhan turns over A♣ 8♦, but a surprising A♠ on the turn gives him a crucial double-up. With this win, the German climbs back to around 800,000 chips, equivalent to 20 big blinds.
Not long after, it’s Flurim Alija’s turn. Down to just 220,000 chips, he moves all-in with A♦ 8♦. 2121 calls with A-K. However, the Q-high board runs out 5-4-3, and thanks to a deuce on the river, the pot is split between the two players.
Mon 17 Mar - 14:05 - Maryline Valente. is the 9th place finisher!

Everyone folds except for Brechner in the big blind, who is also short-stacked and calls with A-K.
The board initially favours the French player with 8-7-4-8, but an ace on the river seals her fate, eliminating her from the final table. She takes home a prize of 4.550€ euros and the satisfaction of reaching such a prestigious final table.
The action continues with eight players remaining, as Mousa remains firmly in the lead with over 3.5 million chips.
