It was a gruelling battle as the 69 survivors of Day 3 of the 🐺 Wolf Millionaire Main Event returned to the felt to chase a seat at the final table. In the end, it was Semen Karyi who emerged on top, the only one to surpass — just barely — the 40 million mark, equal to around 100 big blinds.
It turned into a head-to-head race against Poland’s Grzegorz Ryszard Flak, even though they were seated at opposite tables. Thanks to his late surge, Flak will return tomorrow with 39,075,000 chips — just shy of the lead — worth 98 big blinds. The decisive swing came in one of the last hands of the night, when Karyi managed to extract more than 3 million in value, betting the river with K-Q on a king-high board and getting the snap-call from his opponent. Here’s what today’s protagonist told us:

“It’s been a long day, actually a long four days since I started from one of the earlier flights. I had a decent start today, not too bad, and I just tried to do my best throughout. Some spots I played well, some not so well, but I also got lucky at the right times.
Now I can say I’m a professional. I mostly play live games, usually cash with five-card formats, but sometimes I jump into tournaments like this. Online I play only occasionally. This will definitely be my best score so far.
The tournament itself has been really challenging. With more than 3,300 entries, you face a lot of strong players, and it’s not easy. Yesterday was the hardest day for me, but I managed to survive and come back stronger today.
I feel confident in my skills, and I’m very happy to be chip leader heading into the final table. The last hand of the night gave me a big boost — I managed to get great value and that pushed me to the top. Now it’s time to focus on tomorrow.”
Top 5
For the chasing pack, the evergreen Tony Ravnak bagged 21,600,000, followed by France’s Victor Guillaume Alban Pahon with 14,350,000, while Germany’s Roman Lucas Sartory closed out the Top 5 with 11,175,000.
Tomorrow at 1 p.m., the nine finalists will return to King’s Resort to play down to a champion, with €145,000 and a WSOPE Main Event ticket waiting at the top.
