Mon 22 Dec -18:30 - The final table is set, Phung ahead!

ree

A lot has happened over the last two hours of play, and the field has now been reduced to nine players. The Final TableĀ is officially set.

The last elimination came in 10th place, with Deep Khandra SinghĀ knocking out one of the three remaining Italian players, Giovanni Basta. The hand unfolded at 100,000/200,000 blinds, when Basta opened to 400,000Ā and Singh moved all-in with Ace-Queen of clubs. Basta snap-called holding Ace-King, but the board ran clean, sending Singh to the Final Table with approximately 10,000,000 chips, right around the tournament average, good for about 40 big blinds.

At the same table, Lulei HuĀ lost some ground and will start the Final Table with just under 8,000,000 chips.

ree

Meanwhile, all eyes were on the Feature Table, where Helmut Phung (pic above)Ā put on a real show, eliminating multiple opponents and surging into the chip lead with over 20,000,000 chips. Also seated at the Feature Table was Stefan Drusca, who was unable to further increase his stack after the redraw but still holds a solid position with around 10,000,000 chips.

The Final Table is about to begin. Stay tuned for the next updates as the tournament reaches its decisive stage.

The Final Table is set with nine playersĀ remaining. Below is the full seat draw with chip countsĀ as play resumes:

New update from King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where the field is now down to 16 players. A seat redrawĀ has just taken place and play resumes on two tables.

Blinds are 80,000/160,000, ante 160,000, with an average stack of 6 million chips.

Out in front is Lulei Hu, now seated at the outer tableĀ with approximately 11.5 million chips. Simon Politoski (pic above), who had dropped very short earlier, has regained ground and is now back up to around 7.5 million.

Stefan DruscaĀ has been moved to the Feature TableĀ and is once again commanding the action with a massive stack of about 13.5 million chips, after eliminating Sven Kirchner, winner of a previous EuroRounders event, who exited in 18th place.

Several Italian players remain in contention, including Antonio Iannei, one of the main protagonists of the entire weekend. Also still in the field is Victor Pahon, another EuroRounders winner, currently seated at the outer table.

Among the remaining players we also find Salvatore ScirĆØ, now quite short and playing at the Feature Table. Helmut PhungĀ continues with a strong stack and has also been moved to the Feature Table, alongside Anthony Piccioli. Jelka Andelic, who was very short earlier, has managed to double up and now sits at around 3 million chipsĀ at the outer table.

Mon 22 Dec -14:45 - Seat redraw, 24 left, Drusca still ahead, Lulei follows!

ree

Day 2 of the šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø Pirate’s Poker Treasure – Mystery Bounty Main EventĀ has just come to an end after attracting a massive 1,531 total entries. The field has now been reduced to 28 players, all advancing to the Final Day, scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 22.

The standout performer of the day was Romania’s Stefan Drusca, who closed the session with a commanding 9,710,000 chips, roughly three times the tournament average. Very close behind is Lulei Hu, the Italian-Chinese regular, who bags 9,490,000 chipsĀ after being one of the most dominant figures on the tournament floor. While Drusca spent most of the day at the Feature Table, Hu followed a different path — yet the outcome was the same, as the two clearly set the pace throughout Day 2.

Both players were interviewed at the end of the night to share their thoughts after a long and demanding session. We start, naturally, with the Day 2 chip leader, Stefan Drusca.

Looking at the Top 5 stacks, alongside Drusca and Hu, we find Helmut PhungĀ in third place with 6,200,000 chips, another major protagonist of the day. He is followed by Germany’s Lucky MeĀ with 5,000,000, while Anthony PiccioliĀ rounds out the top five on 4,870,000 chips.

Below you’ll find the complete list of all 28 players advancing to the Final Day.

Mon 22 Dec - 02:30 - Stefan Drusca is Day 2 chip leader!

ree

A last-ditch battle, but in the end Stefan DruscaĀ manages to carry the largest stackĀ into the next stage, thanks to a spectacular hand that we detailed in today’s report, available at THIS LINK.

Second place goes to Lulei Hu, the undisputed dominator of the tournament for long stretches of play. The gap between the two protagonists is razor-thin, with only a few hundred thousand chips separating them as the action continues on opposite sides of the room.

Mon 22 Dec - 00:00 - Phung rises atop, new break!

ree

Another break is underway here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. Since the previous update, Michele Tocci, Luigi Pignataro, and Antonio FragaleĀ have all been eliminated, despite holding solid positions just a few hours earlier.

At the top of the chip count, Jelka AndelicĀ and Stefan DruscaĀ both remain above the 3 millionĀ mark. A quick walk around the tables shows Lulei HuĀ still in contention with a slightly reduced stack of around 2.5 million chips.

Over the last two hours, however, the spotlight has shifted to Helmut Phung, who has surged to the top of the provisional chip countĀ with an imposing stack of over 5 million chips. Phung is seated at the same table as Jelka Andelic, and the dynamic between the two big stacks is drawing plenty of attention from the room.

Also still in the field is Christopher Campisano, currently holding approximately 800,000 chips, while Antonio IanneiĀ continues his run with about 2.5 million. At the feature table, former People’s Poker Tour Main EventĀ champion Daniele TrippiĀ is hovering around the tournament average.

Play is currently at 20,000/40,000, ante 40,000. Players will return from the 15-minute breakĀ with 57 players remaining, and action will resume at 25,000/50,000, ante 50,000, with an average stack of 1.6 million chips.

As for the Mystery Bounty, there are still no major developments: both the €45,000 top bountyĀ and the €30,000 second top bountyĀ remain unclaimed, while one of the €15,000 bountiesĀ has already been taken.

Sun 21 Dec - 21:45 - Stefan Drusca massive chip leader!

Sun 21 Dec - 21:45 - Stefan Drusca massive chip leader!

ree

Quick update from King’s Resort in Rozvadov, as we approach the second break of the day. There are 100 playersĀ still in contention for a seat at the Final Day.

Current blinds are 10,000/20,000, ante 20,000, with an average stack of 918,000 chips.

Out in front once again is Romania’s Stefan Drusca, who continues to dominate the field with an impressive stack of around 4.5 million chips, still hovering between four and five times the tournament average.

A big move up the chip count also comes from Jelka Andelic (pic above), a regular here at King’s Resort, who managed to eliminate two players in a single hand. Andelic called a three-way all-in holding bottom set on an 8-3-2 board, beating one opponent’s overpair and another’s top pair. The massive pot boosts her stack to over 3 million chips.

Also firmly inside the overall Top 5Ā is Lulei Wu, sitting on a powerful stack of more than 3.5 million chips. Plenty of familiar faces from the EuroRounders circuit are still in the mix, including Stefano Aprile, a frequent finalist, Antonio IanneiĀ with around 1.2 million, and Christopher CampisanoĀ on approximately 700,000 chips.

Still alive as well are Antonio FragaleĀ with 900,000, and Luigi Pignataro, currently among the shorter stacks with 400,000 chips. Michele TocciĀ is very short with just over 10 big blinds, while Paul Adrian KovaciuĀ has been eliminated, ending his run in this Day 2.
