Just over a week has passed since our last trip to Sanremo, where we witnessed Slaven Popov take down the IPO Main Event 2025. We headed straight to Rozvadov to cover another great tournament — the FPF - France Poker Festival - Main Event.
The first three starting days have already played out earlier this week, and today we’re kicking off our live vlog with Day 1 of the fourth and final flight scheduled for this weekend.

Fri 23 May - 15:00 - Approaching the second daybreak!

The Day 1e of the France Poker Festival (FPF) Main Event is underway at King’s Resort Rozvadov, currently running in the normal format with 40-minute levels. This evening’s speed flight is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
The tournament clock shows 190 total entries, with 194 players still seated, all aiming to secure a spot in Day 2. Blinds are at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante, and the average stack sits at 60,000, up from the 40,000 starting chips.
Familiar faces are starting to populate the field, including both local regulars and well-known EuroRounders circuit players such as Fatos Haxtaj, Wissam Ouertani, and Juan Velasco Farre, among others.
The second break of the day is coming up in about 15 minutes, with a 40-minute pause before play resumes at 4:00 PM for Level 7. Late registration remains open until the end of Level 9.
Fri 23 May - 03:30 - Christophe-Olivier Rodriguez bags big on Day1 D!

With a stack of 701,000 chips, French player Christophe Olivier Rodrigues takes the spotlight on Day 1D of the Main Event. All the details are available in our daily report at THIS LINK.
Fri 23 May - 01:30 - 33 Left as Day 1D moves towards the end!

Only 33 players remain in the hunt here on Day 1D of the France Poker Festival (FPF) Main Event at King’s Resort. A short break is currently underway, after which the blinds will jump to 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante.
Play will continue until just 22 players remain—12.5% of the 173-entry field—who will bag chips for Day 2. The average stack now sits at 209,000, more than five times the 40,000 starting stack. At the new blind level, that equates to 18 big blinds.
Looking ahead, Day 1E of the FPF Main Event is scheduled for tomorrow, featuring 40-minute levels in the standard format. Action gets underway at 11:00 AM, with late registration open through the first 9 levels.
Thu 22 May - 23:30 - Late reg closed with 173 entries!

We’re now into Level 10 here at King’s Resort, where Day 1D of the France Poker Festival (FPF) Main Event is progressing steadily. Late registration is officially closed, and the numbers are in: a total of 173 entries, with 68 players still in contention.
The day will conclude when approximately 12.5% of the field remains—meaning around 25 players will advance to Day 2. For now, there are three more levels to play before the next 15-minute break.
Blinds are currently set at 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind ante. The average stack sits at 101,000 chips, compared to the 40,000 starting stack. Once the level changes, blinds will move up to 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante. Stay tuned for more updates as Day 1D continues.
Thu 22 May - 22:00 - Level 8 Underway with over 150 entries!

We’re currently in Level 8 here at King’s Resort for Day 1D of the France Poker Festival (FPF) Main Event. The field has grown to 158 total entries so far, with 92 players still in action across the tables.

So far, we’ve had 129 total entries, with 115 players still seated and battling it out at the tables.
As we write this update, we’re in Level 5 with blinds at 400/800 and an 800 big blind ante. After the upcoming 30-minute dinner break, play will resume at Level 6 with blinds going up to 500/1,000 and a 1,000 ante.
The average stack is slightly above the 40,000-chip starting stack. Just a reminder: late registration remains open through the end of Level 9 — that’s your last chance to jump in.
Play will pause once 12.5% of the field is reached, and all surviving players will lock up a minimum cash of €380.
