Tue 3 Jun - 18:30 - IPS -Italian Poker Sport - Final Table is set!

The official final table of the IPS – Italian Poker Sport Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of €500,000 is now ready to play out here at the Casino di Sanremo. Only eight players remain in contention for the title, with Mario Perati leading the way thanks to a commanding stack of 13,825,000 chips.

Close behind is Moldova’s Andrei Chiriliuc, the dominant chip leader at the end of Day 2, who will now try to reclaim the top spot and secure the trophy. In third position sits Riccardo Saraniero, the top-ranked Italian on the final table, holding 6,400,000 chips.

Check out the full final table chip counts below. And don’t forget – live streaming of the final table is already underway on our YouTube channel. You’ll find the direct link in the post above. Don’t miss a single hand!

Final Table – Chip Count (8 players remaining):

  1. 🇮🇹 Mario Perati – 13,825,000

  2. 🇲🇩 Andrei Chiriliuc – 12,175,000

  3. 🇮🇹 Riccardo Saraniero – 6,400,000

  4. 🇮🇹 Cristian Andrei – 4,775,000

  5. 🇮🇹 Mario Angelo Dossetto – 4,750,000

  6. 🇮🇹 Antonio Iannei – 3,750,000

  7. 🇨🇿 Josef Gulaš – 3,475,000

  8. 🇮🇹 Marco Linari – 2,900,000

Tue 3 Jun - 17:30 - Perati leads the 8 finalists, Bruno bubble-man!

The unofficial final table of the IPS Main Event at the Casino di Sanremo has delivered its first wave of action, with the dynamics shifting quickly in the opening hands. It all began with Mario Perati in sit-out, forced to fold the first two hands and miss the big blind. Nothing notable happened during those initial orbits, but the tension at the table was already palpable.

On the fifth hand, Antonio Iannei found a much-needed boost to his stack. After a raise from early position, Iannei shoved and took down an important pot uncontested, pushing his stack above 4 million and giving himself some breathing room.

Maurizio Bruno, the shortest stack at the table, made his move soon after. Shoving from UTG+1, he found no callers, collecting the blinds and antes for a small recovery.

Moments later, Mario Perati got involved in a crucial pot against Marco Linari. The board ran out 5♥ 7♥ K♥ 2♣ Q♠, and Perati led the river with a bet of 900,000 into a pot of over 2 million. Linari tanked, eventually folding, and Perati claimed a significant pot, rising comfortably above the 10-million mark.

Perati’s ascent continued as he clashed with chip leader Andrei Chiriliuc. In a key hand, Perati fired both flop and turn before forcing a fold from Chiriliuc, adding another 2 million to his growing stack. It was a decisive moment, as the Italian took control of the chip lead for the first time.

Shortly after, we had our first elimination. Maurizio Bruno open-shoved from MP2 holding J♠9♦ and was called by Riccardo Saraniero with A♣8♣. The board came Q♠ 6♠ 3♦ 3♣ 2♣ — no help for either player, and Saraniero’s ace-high was enough to win the hand and send Bruno to the rail. He exited in 9th place for €8,200.

With that, the unofficial final table is now down to eight players, and the official final table is set to begin shortly in the theater downstairs, as per Sanremo tradition. Players are on a short break before moving to the new setup.

Meanwhile, Mario Perati takes over the chip lead with more than 13 million chips, overtaking Chiriliuc, who remains above 10 million. All other players trail at a distance. The complete seat draw and chip counts will follow in our next update.

Stay tuned for all the action, and don’t forget: the live streaming begins at 8 left!

Tue 3 Jun - 16:30 - Unofficial Final Table!

🎭 The unofficial final table has been reached here at the Casino di Sanremo, where nine players remain in contention for the IPS Italian Poker Sport Main Event title. As tradition dictates, the official final table — with live stream coverage — will begin once the field reaches 8 players, and the action will move to the theatre room below the casino.

The clock has been paused and play will resume at 100,000 / 200,000 blinds with a 200,000 ante. The average stack is now 5.8 million chips, equal to 29 big blinds.

This stage was reached after the elimination of Dario Quattrucci in 10th place, good for a €6,800 payout. The Roman player lost a decisive blind war against Mario Perati. From the small blind, Quattrucci open-shoved with T♦ T♠, and Perati — after peeking only at his first card, an Ace — quickly called. His second card was a King, revealing A♠ K♣.

An Ace hit the flop, followed by another on the turn, sealing Quattrucci’s fate with no help on the river. Perati secured a crucial double-up, sending Quattrucci to the rail.

Players are currently taking a short break. Live streaming will start at 8 left, so make sure to follow all the action on our social media channels and YouTube! 🎥♠️🔥

Meanwhile, we’ve lost both Simone De Masi, who had been short-stacked for much of the tournament.

As for the High Roller, the clock has been paused with 10 players remaining, will continue hand-for-hand until the official final table is reached.

Full details will be included in the Main Event recap report, so stay tuned for the next update.

Tue 3 Jun - 01:00 - Gulaš takes back the lead, 35 left!

Quick update here from the Casino di Sanremo, where the chip counts have shifted a bit.

Claudio Daffinà is climbing back up with just under 2 million chips, and Mario Perati is also recovering, now sitting on 2.2 million chips after getting a couple of favorable coolers that allowed him to double his stack.

Still among the top stacks are Andrei Chiriliuc and Rasmus Lundström, both holding over 2 million chips.

We’re currently playing Level 23, with blinds at 25,000 / 50,000 and a 50,000 ante.
